HEAVENLY SALAD 
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
1 1/4 c. hot water, or 1 c. water plus 1/4 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple (8 oz. can)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. Cool Whip
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Mix Jello with water, sugar and pineapple. Let partly set and whip. Fold in Cool Whip. Add nuts and grated cheese. Put a little grated cheese over the top. Serves 8 or 9.
