NEWLYWED MEATLOAF 
1 lb. ground round
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 egg
1 can Campbells condensed vegetable or vegetable beef soup
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 med. onion, coarsely chopped
Salt and pepper or Jane's Krazy mixed up salt
Ketchup
Chopped chives, optional

Drain soup, mix all ingredients together except ketchup. Place mixture into baking pan or dish. Form into a loaf. Spread ketchup on top of loaf or create a design. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 4.

Comments: As a very young bride, my Mother-in-law's verbal recipe to me specified tomato soup. I forgot, and it's been Vegetable soup every since.

My recipe is similar to yours only I use saltine cracker crumbs and for the topping I use a ketchup and mustard and sugar mixture and I also put bacon on top of the meatloaf!
