2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut into pieces
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
Paprika
1 c. bread crumbs
Salt and pepper

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Wash chicken and pat dry. In a medium bowl combine bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and paprika. Coat chicken with one half bread crumbs. Melt butter in baking pan. Place chicken, skin side up, in pan. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Turn chicken, sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for another 30 minutes. Reduce oven 200 degrees. Bake 30 minutes longer until golden and crispy. Makes 4 servings. "Any idiot can make it."
