TOMATO PUDDING 
3 1/2 c. tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. brown sugar
8 sliced bread, cubed
1/3 c. butter

Mix together sieved tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Place bread crumbs in buttered casserole dish. Melt butter and pour over the bread. Toss to mix. Pour hot tomato mixture over buttered bread cubes. Bake uncovered 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
