NO WEEP MERINGUE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook the cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar and water until thickened. Remove from heat and cool. Beat the egg whites until thickened and gradually add vanilla and remaining sugar. Add the cooled cornstarch mixture and continue beating until thick and holds shape. Place on your favorite pie and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
