EASY FUDGE BROWNIES | |
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 oz.) 1/3 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. broken nuts 1/2 tsp. baking powder Melt the chocolate squares and butter over hot water (top of double boiler). Beat in the sugar and eggs. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt, and stir into the chocolate. Mix in the broken nuts. Spread into a well greased 8" square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top has a dull crust and a slight imprint is left from your fingertip. Cool slightly and then cut into squares. Makes 16 (2") squares. |
