2 SHOO - FLY PIES 
LIQUID:

1/2 c. dark molasses
1/2 c. regular molasses
1 1/2 c. hot water (rinse out molasses cup)
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda

CRUMBS:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. shortening
Dash ginger and cloves (optional)

Mix molasses and water; beat egg yolks and add half of molasses mix to yolks. Then pour into remainder of molasses. Add soda and set aside to cool. Mix all ingredients for crumbs. Pour 1/4 cup regular molasses in bottom of unbaked pie shell and add molasses mixture. Spread crumbs lightly on top. Divide mix accordingly. This makes 2 pies. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
