BROILED SPARERIBS | |
3 lbs. spareribs, cut 4 inch lengths 1 (1 inch) piece of ginger, grated 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp. sherry or mirin 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. tomato sauce 1/2 c. ketchup 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. MSG Boil ribs in a very little water. Simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Drain, combine ingredients in sauce for 30 minutes. Broil over charcoal in the oven. |
