1 1/2 MINUTE FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 6 tbsp. cocoa 1 stick butter 1/4 c. white Karo 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Combine above ingredients (except for vanilla and nuts) in saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted. Turn heat high. When fudge is in full boil, start timing. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat. Beat until fudge begins to thicken. Add vanilla and nuts and pour into buttered platter. Let cool and cut. Makes about 2 dozen squares. P.S. Leave cocoa out and you will have vanilla fudge. |
