1 qt. snap green beans
3 stalks celery
2 med. onions
Salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 lb. stew beef
1 green pepper
1 clove garlic
Pepper
2 (No. 1) can tomatoes

Place beans in 1 1/2 quarts water and set aside. Brown stew beef in a little oil, then drop into beans. Dice celery, green pepper and onions, and mash garlic. Place in meat pan with salt, pepper and oregano and brown. Place with meat, beans and tomatoes. Place in bean pot and cook about 3 hours.
