1 med. roast
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef broth
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
4 lg. potatoes, peeled and cut
3 carrots, peeled and cut
3 tbsp. barbecue sauce (optional)

Brown roast on all sides. Place in crockpot. Add beef broth, onion soup mix, potatoes, carrots, and barbecue sauce. Cook in crockpot all day on medium.
