RICE CONSOMME | |
1/2 c. diced celery 1/2 c. diced green pepper 2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef consomme soup 1 c. rice 1/2 c. diced onion 1/2 stick butter Cook celery, green pepper and onion in butter until tender. Place rice, soup and cooked vegetables in oven proof bowl (2 liters). Cover and bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes to an hour, or until all liquid is absorbed. Serves 6 to 8 people. Recipe can be halved. |
