NORTHERN FRIED RABBIT 
1 fryer rabbit
2 strips bacon
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 egg, slightly beaten
Bread or cracker crumbs

Place cut up fryer, in saucepan. Cover with water. Add bacon and salt and pepper; cook until tender. Remove pieces of rabbit from pan. Dip in egg and roll in crumbs, fry until golden brown on both sides.
