VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
3 c. sliced raw potatoes
Onions
Salt and pepper
3 slices American cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. California blend frozen vegetables (cooked)
1 can cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 c. water
butter

Butter casserole dish. Put potatoes on bottom. Layer with onions, salt, pepper and cheese, California blend, soup and top with pats of butter. You can layer cheese on top also. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour.
