1 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose) 1 1/4 c. oats 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1 egg 3 c. milk 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. currants (optional) Mix dry ingredients; add liquid (egg, milk, melted butter); form dough. Knead 8 or 10 times. Shape in a round; cut in triangles. Cook at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. |
