LEMON PASTRY | |
2 sticks butter, melted 2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 4 tbsp. flour 4 eggs, well beaten 1/2 c. powder sugar Pinch of salt 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 tsp. baking powder Mix butter, powdered sugar, flour and salt until creamy and smooth. Pour into 13x9 inch pan and bake 20 minutes or until delicate brown. While baking, mix sugar, lemon juice, flour, baking powder and eggs. Mix well and pour over hot crust. Bake 20 minutes or until a delicate brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut while hot and let cool in pan. |
