BANANA BREAD (SOFT AND MOIST) 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup ripe mashed bananas
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix: butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla in a bowl and mix until creamy.

Add: bananas, cinnamon and mix well.

Add: baking soda, salt, sour cream, flour, mix until all smooth.

Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until done.

This is my go to banana bread recipe! I make sure the bananas are almost black- more flavor. I also spray pans with Vegetable Oil Spray and dust with sugar instead of flour. Makes an outside crust that is yummy! Always have requests for the recipe.

WOW! This is a great banana bread. I used 100% whole wheat flour (sifted) and Almond Milk to replace the sour cream and the flavor and texture was moist and delicious, even the next day it was moist. My favorite banana bread from now on!
