DRIED BEEF A LA KING 
1 pkg. dried beef
1 can mushroom soup
1 can tomato sauce
Chopped green pepper, optional
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced

Pour boiling water over beef to reduce salt. Drain and break up into large saucepan. Saute in about 1 tablespoon butter for 5 minutes. Add soup and tomato sauce. Heat slowly, then add cheese and sliced eggs. Serve over toast or patty shells.
