Cream together 1/2 pound unsalted butter, 2 to 3 cups sugar, 5 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Sift 2 3/4 cup flour with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add to the creamed mixture, alternating with 1 cup yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup orange juice and 2 tablespoons orange rind. Pour into a greased Teflon bundt pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan on rack for 15-20 minutes, then remove from pan to finish cooling. Mix 1/4 cup orange juice with 1/2 to 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar and glaze the cake with this mixture when cool.
