CRANBERRY ORANGE BROWNIES 
4 c. fresh cranberries
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. orange juice
Grated rind of 1 oranges
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts

Slice cranberries in half. In mixing bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, oil, eggs, orange juice, orange rind, and vanilla. Stir well.

Add flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg to cranberry mixture, and stir until thoroughly mixed. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan. Can be served topped with whipped cream or whipped topping.
