QUICK PICKLES 
1 qt. jar dill pickles (any kind - Polish, garlic, Kosher, etc.)
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seeds
1/2 c. vinegar
3 buds garlic, chopped
3 tbsp. mixed pickling spices (tie in a small square of cloth)

Pour off juice of pickles. Slice into bite size chunks and place in a large glass bowl. Add all ingredients to pickles, placing pickling spices down in the middle. Cover with a plate and let stand overnight. (Stir a few times before going to bed to help dissolve sugar.) In the morning, place pickles in same jar (that has been washed clean.) Take cloth square of pickling spices and squeeze out as much juice as possible into pickles then throw away. Keep pickles refrigerated.
