TAHOE HOLIDAY BRUNCH | |
1 1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean sage sausage 1 sm. onion, diced 1 lb. fresh mushrooms 1 1/2 lb. cheese, grated 1 dozen eggs 2 c. milk 6-8 slices bread, crusts off 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. Dijon mustard 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. butter Line 9x13 inch pan with buttered bread, buttered side down. Saute and brown sausage. Drain. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Layer as follows: onions and mushrooms, sausage, grated cheese, egg mixture, more cheese. Make night before and refrigerate. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 8-10. |
