CHARLIE'S SQUISH-SQUASH PIE 
1 3/4 c. mashed buttercup or acorn squash
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 lg. eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. melted butter

Mix together and pour into pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes, or until knife comes out clean. Will set when cool.
