FRIED CABBAGE 
1 lg. head cabbage, sliced
1 lg. onion, chopped
6-8 slices bacon
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes with juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon in electric skillet until crisp. Remove, crumble and set aside.

In bacon drippings, add onion and cabbage. Cover. Cook about 20-30 minutes or until cabbage cooks down. Add chopped tomatoes and continue cooking for about 15 minutes. When done, add crumbled bacon, mixing well and serve.
