ITALIAN MEAT PIE | |
9 inch pie plate 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. garlic salt 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/3 c. tomato paste Sliced pepperoni (if desired) Mix bread crumbs, milk, garlic salt and beef together. Pat evenly into pie plate, press firmly on rim. Spread tomato paste over meat mixture. Drain mushrooms and arrange mushrooms and pepperoni on tomato paste. Top with shredded cheese and sprinkle oregano over cheese, complete with 2 tablespoons or more Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until meat is baked to your taste and cheese is slightly brown. |
