3 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 c. Shedd's Spread or butter 1 1/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In a large mixing bowl cream Shedd's Spread Country Crock with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients just until well combined. Cover dough. Chill 3 hours; divide dough in half. Roll out 1/8 inch thick on a well floured surface. Cut with cookie sheet. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Serves with 3 cups of flour. Yields 5 dozen. |
