EGG SAVING ANGEL FOOD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. egg whites
Ice water to make 1 cup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Sift dry ingredients 4 times, except salt. Beat egg whites and water to make 1 cup with cream of tartar and salt until stiff. Beat in flavorings. Fold in flour and sugar mixture very gently. Turn into ungreased tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cake from oven and rest pan on a funnel upside down until cool.
