SHERRY PEAR CRISP 
8 fresh pears, peeled, cored, cut in eighths
1/3 c. sherry
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. cereal flakes (crushed)
Grated rind of 1 lemon

Place pears in bottom of 11x7 baking dish, lightly oiled. Pour sherry over pears. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients and blend until crumbly. Sprinkle over baked pears. Bake 25-30 minutes longer, or until pears are tender. Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream or ice cream.
