WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cook milk and cornstarch until thick. Cover and cool. Beat butter in mixer until creamy. Add sugar and continue beating until fluffy. Add the cooled mixture and beat until sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla.

NOTE: Color may be stirred in by hand. Reserve a little and color it and use in a cake decorator.

NOTE: This freezes very well. Serve shortly after removing from freezer.
