PINEAPPLE REFRIGERATOR DESSERT 
1 to 1 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg

Spread 1 cup crumbs in 8 or 9 inch pan. Beat butter, powdered sugar, and egg together until light and fluffy. Spread mixture over crumbs. Whip 1 cup whipping cream until stiff. Fold in 1 to 1 1/2 cups well drained crushed pineapple (No. 2 can). Spread over butter mixture; sprinkle top with remaining crumbs. Cover with waxed paper. Chill overnight. Cut in squares to serve. Makes 9 servings.
