COCONUT POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. coconut

ICING:

1 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. coconut flavoring

Set aside coconut. Beat together all other ingredients. Fold in coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Remove from oven.

Mix icing until smooth then pour over hot cake while icing is still hot.
