ALMOND-CREAM STRAWBERRIES | |
2 pts. lg. strawberries 1 (3 1/2 - 3 3/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling 1 c. milk 1 c. heavy or whipping cream, whipped 1 tsp. almond extract Cut stems off strawberries. Cut a deep "X" in top of each strawberry; gently spread apart strawberry to make "petals"; set aside. Prepare instant pudding as label directs but use only 1 cup milk. With wire whisk or rubber spatula, gently fold whipping cream and almond extract into prepared instant pudding. Spoon cream mixture into decorating bag with large writing tip. Pipe cream into strawberries. Refrigerate strawberries if not serving right away. Makes 8 servings. |
