FRUIT SPREAD 
2 (8 oz. each) cans crushed pineapple
1 c. dates, chopped
1/4 c. dried apricot or peaches, halved and chopped
2-3 tbsp. lemon juice

Drain pineapple. Combine all ingredients in blender; process until smooth. Store in refrigerator. Makes 1 1/2 cups. Taste for sweetness before adding lemon juice. Add sugar substitutes if tart.
