1 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
4 c. flour (or less)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and shortening together. Add egg yolks and sour cream. Mix flour, soda and salt, then add to first mixture. Add vanilla. These can be dropped on cookie sheet or rolled and cut with a cookie cutter.

This is the best sugar cookie recipe. Rolls out very well and great to use with cookie cutters.
