GRAPENUT BREAD 
2 c. milk, scalded
1 c. Grapenuts
3 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
3 tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. raisins

Add Grapenuts to scalded milk, cool and mix dry ingredients. Add egg, shortening and raisins to grapenut mixture. Add dry ingredients and pour into greased pan and let stand 20 minutes. Bake in moderate oven for 1 hour.
