2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter and lard (in equal parts), melted
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped

Can be made with chocolate chips. Mix, make into a roll, put in a cool place, slice thin and bake at 350 degrees.
