WALDORF ASTORIA FROSTING 
1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick of butter

Medium heat - cook milk, flour, pinch of salt. Cook and stir until thickens, then refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix in a separate bowl sugar, Crisco, vanilla and butter. Then mix the two together, then decorate cupcakes or cake then refrigerate. This frosting needs to be refrigerated at all times.
