REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
2 c. warm water 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 pkg. yeast 1 egg 1/4 c. shortening 6 1/2 to 7 c. flour Put all ingredients except flour into a large bowl. Add 3 cups of flour. Beat with mixer for 5 minutes. Add rest of the flour until dough is mixed. This will be a soft dough. Do not knead. Put into refrigerator overnight. Remove dough and let rise until double, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Shape dough into rolls. Let rise. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. |
