FRENCH-APPLE COFFEE CAKE | |
1 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. brown sugar 2/3 c. sour milk 2 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 3 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can French-Apple pie filling 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. melted butter Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, sour milk, eggs, flour, soda, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and salt. Fold in filling and spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Make topping with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Pour melted butter over hot cake when done. |
