STRAWBERRY BANANA BREAD 
2 c. finely chopped walnuts
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. orange peel
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cardamom
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
4 beaten eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. mashed strawberries
2 c. mashed ripe bananas

Grease and flour two 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts in bottom of each. Mix flour and spices; combine sugar, strawberries, bananas and oil and stir in beaten eggs. Then add to dry ingredients. Blend just until moistened. Stir in remaining nuts. Spoon batter into pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Let cool 10 minutes. Remove to rack and finish cooling. Freezes perfectly.
