POTATO DOUGHNUTS 
1 pt. hot mashed potatoes
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. flour (plain)
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook 1 pint of potatoes and mash. Add 2 cups sugar and 2 tablespoon butter, when cool, add 3 eggs, pinch of salt, 1 cup milk, nutmeg, vanilla. Last, add 6 cups plain flour (sifted) with 6 teaspoon baking powder. Roll to 1/2 inch. Fry in vegetable oil that will brown in one minute.
