SPICY CORN BREAD 
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sour milk

Mix the dry ingredients. Add eggs and milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
