PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH PIE CRUST | |
3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1-1/4 c. shortening 5 tbsp. water 1 egg 1 tsp. vinegar Sift flour and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal. Beat water, egg and vinegar together; stir into flour mixture. Shape into ball and chill. Turn out on floured surface. Roll to fit pie pan. Will make (2)-2 crust pies or 4 single crust. |
