PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH LETTUCE | |
5 slices bacon, diced 1 beaten egg 1/4 c. minced onions (green onions) 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. water 1 bunch leaf lettuce Cook bacon until crisp. Combine egg, onion, sugar, salt, vinegar and water. Add to bacon and stir. Heat to boiling. Pour hot dressing over lettuce and toss. |
