PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH RED CABBAGE 
1 head red cabbage, chopped
3/4 c. honey
3 sliced, cored & peeled McIntosh apples
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. water
Salt & pepper to taste

In large stainless steel pot, add all ingredients. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours, covered until fork tender. Stir occasionally. Serves 6 to 8.
