TURKEY POT ROAST | |
Turkey breast Fresh mushrooms "Baby" fresh carrots Sm. white new potatoes Sm. onions Salt, pepper Use medium roaster (with cover). Place turkey breast with the meat side on the bottom of roaster. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour, then add all cleaned vegetables around the turkey breast and in the "cavity by the ribs". Salt and pepper. Add 1 to 2 cups water for moisture. Continue to bake about 2 hours. When the turkey is tender take out the vegetables and liquid - turn the breast over and place back in the oven to continue to brown (with cover off) while you're dishing up the balance of your meal or making gravy from the liquid. Remember the liquid is great just as is! Enjoy! |
