2 c. white sugar 2 c. flour 2 sticks butter 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. water 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Nutmeats, if desired Sift together sugar and flour. Bring to boil the butter, cocoa and water. Cool. Pour over flour mixture. Add buttermilk and 2 eggs. Beat well. Add cinnamon, vanilla, soda, and nuts. Pour into 15x10x1 inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. FROSTING: Mix 6 tablespoons butter, 6 tablespoons milk and 1 1/2 cups white sugar. Bring to boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. These brownies are very moist and tasty. |
