CRUNCHY HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
3 c. corn flakes or Wheaties crunched
1 med. chopped onion
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning
1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

In a saucepan, brown hamburger or stir until meat looks grey (so red color is gone). Mix 1/2 cup flour with sage, seasonings in bowl then pour over hamburg with milk and mix in onions. Cook until thick all in the one saucepan.

When thick looking, grease a casserole bowl and put in 3 layers of hamburger mix and 3 layers of corn flakes, ending up with cornflakes on top. Thinly slice 1/2 cube of butter and dab them on top of casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Serves 5. I usually put baked potatoes in the oven when I start mixture, then casserole in, and potatoes and casserole are ready. Serve with canned peas.
