FUDGY PECAN PIE | |
1 9" unbaked pastry shell 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate or 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate 1/4 c. butter 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) 1/2 c. hot water 2 eggs, well beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. pecan halves or pieces Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate with butter. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, hot water and eggs; mix well. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 40-45 minutes or until center is set. Cool slightly. Serve warm or chilled. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers. |
