CORN FRITTERS 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. can whole kernel corn
2 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk

Stir well. In a deep skillet, heat 2 inches of oil or shortening, hot. Drop by large spoonfuls into hot fat, a few at a time. Deep fry until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
